Crew Workflow

The procedures described here aim to ensure a common view of the workflow during assignments in order to facilitate the change of staff. Pilots and Co-Pilots knows who do what and when even if it’s the first time flying together.

Before you jump into the cockpit, Co-Pilot FL should perform offline loading tests and note all values ​​required to complete step 6.b. These values ​​are then given to the flight before mission start, preferably in a "mission kneeboard" according to the example "C-130J CNI_MU Data Card" to the right or similar.

1. Pilot perform "Power up" checklist*.
2. Co-Pilot perform step 1 according to "CNI-MU Setup" checklist found here.** when CNI-MU is powered on (incl. set to monitor and turn up the volume for both pilot and Co-Pilot).
3. Pilot calls "Power Up done" on ICS when "Power up" checklist is completed. (Confirms ICS working)
4. Pilot performs comms check on Intra-flight.
5. Co-Pilot performs comms check on ch 6/7 as briefed.
