Basic Section

Starting Up

  • Cold Start using Quickstart Checklist

Basic System Knowledge

Basic Flying

  • Basic formations. Fingertip, Echelon, Box, Trail, Combat spread
  • Basic rejoins

Basic Navigation

  • Navigate visually between two points using the compass and an empty F10 map
  • Waypoint Navigation
  • Autopilot Att, Höjd
  • Radar navfix
  • Visual navfix
  • Change waypoint to target waypoint

Landing

Basic Mission Procedures

  • Checking in
  • Fence In / Fence Out procedures
  • Changing radio presets
  • Jettison
  • Joker/Bingo Settings
  • Formation Takeoff (2-ship)

Basic Combat

Basic Air-To-Air

  • Radar to B-Scope or PPI
  • Fire Rb 24 or Rb 74 Sidewinder (~2-4 nm)

Basic Air-To-Ground

  • ARAK
  • Low drag pop-up dive bombing CCIP
  • High drag level bombing CCIP
  • RB 04
  • RB 15F in NAV mode
  • BK 90

Basic Defence

  • Drop Flares and Chaff
  • Evade enemy missile by putting it on your 3 o'clock or 9 o'clock (Evaluate in TacView)

Advanced Section

Advanced System Knowledge

  • RB15F waypoint and target profile programming
  • BK90 target and flight profile programming
  • Program and use Popup points (U points)

Advanced Flying

  • IFR Navigation without night vision tools (NVG's)
  • Obstacle avoidance mode / terrain avoidance mode
  • Precise radar navfix
  • Add and use BULLSEYE position at bx point
  • Navigate to a position relative to BULLSEYE

Advanced Landing

  • TILS Landing procedures
  • Landing at roadbases

Advanced Departure and Approach Procedures

  • Standard instrument Departure (SID)
  • Standard Terminal Arrival Route (STAR)

Advanced Mission Procedures

Advanced Combat

Advanced Air-to-Air

  • Use Radar to intercept with known target altitude
  • Basic BFM manouvers (Understanding 1 and 2 circle fights)

Advanced Air-to-Ground

  • RB15F at preprogrammed waypoints
  • Time on Target Strikes with Conventional weapons aswell as BK90 and RB15F
  • Basic air to ground in IFR conditions
  • Radar bombing
  • BK90 at radar targets of opportunity
  • RB05 at stationary or slow moving targets
