The following sections describe Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTP) that are valid only for M-2000C.

Some Tactics and Techniques have reference to the manual "DCS M-2000C Flight Manual EN", this manual can be found in the DCS installation folder "DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft\M-2000C\Doc"

Procedures

The procedures described here aim to ensure a common view of the workflow during assignments in order to facilitate the change of staff. Pilots knows who do what and when even if it’s the first time flying together.

Startup

  • Ramp-start is generally done with ground power (results in least drift rate during the INS alignment)
  • INS alignment can be done in two ways (do not hanging heavy ordinances during the alignment process):
  1. Normal alignment: Lasts for 8 minutes and result in a 0,7 nm/h drift rate.
  2. Stored heading alignment: Last 1 minute 30 seconds and result in a 3 nm/h drift rate.
  • Radio 1 (Green) used as "Mission radio" with presets as standard and manual input available.
  • Radio 2 (Red) used as "Intra-flight" with preset 1 = ATIS, 2 = Intra-flight and 5 = AI Tower (All other as stadnard as backup)
- Powering on the secondary radio tunes ATIS, when done taking notes, switch to preset 2 for intra-flight.

You find the Quickstart Checklists here.
